 UGC   The Significance of NET Examination

NET (brief for National Eligibility Test) is an examination carried out by the College Grants Fee as a strategy to verify the eligibility for lectureship and for awarding the Junior Analysis Fellowship. The examination is supposed for Indian nationals and objectives to implement uniform standards on aspirants stepping into the educating and research area in varied disciplines.

The NET examination takes place twice a 12 months – as quickly as in June and then in December. NET test is carried out for the next subjects:

o Humanities – together with Languages

o Social Sciences.

o Environmental Sciences

o Forensic Science

o Computer Science and Applications
